About This Project

Sky Candy Studios partnered with the Miami Host‑City Committee to produce a stirring ambassador film featuring Marc Anthony, celebrating why Miami was selected as a FIFA World Cup 2026™ host city. Blending authentic cultural reflection with cinematic visual storytelling, the film pairs sweeping drone sequences over ocean‑lined avenues and skyline vistas with intimate ground‑level scenes that bring Miami’s heart and soul to life.

The concept: culture in motion

Marc opens the film simply: “My name is Marc Anthony, and this is Miami.” From there, his voiceover draws a line between music and fútbol, between rhythm and ritual, setting a tone that is both celebratory and grounded. Our creative approach was to let the city lead—using movement and music‑forward pacing to connect stadium‑scale moments with the human textures that make Miami feel like home.

The story: a living stage called Miami

The camera establishes Miami as a global stage—neighborhoods alive with rhythm, street life framed by neon and ocean light, and an iconic skyline that signals worldwide reach. Aerial shots glide the coastline, lift above stadiums, and sweep across fan gatherings, while ground‑level sequences invite us into the in‑between moments: a melody drifting from a corner café, kids laughing over a quick street‑soccer match, a guitar riff folding into calls of “¡Somos 26!”—a nod to the World Cup’s “We Are 26” brand that unites cities and communities.

Behind the lens: movement, craft, and city‑scale logistics

Aerial language. Our drone teams designed flight lines that play with altitude, parallax, and pace—bringing viewers from ocean surface to skyline crown in a single breath, then tucking into tighter passes that read signage, murals, and crowd energy.

Cinematic intimacy. Interior and street‑level scenes are captured with controlled, naturalistic camera work—skin‑tone fidelity, balanced ambient color, and close focus that favors human connection over spectacle.

Rhythm & voice. Editorial rhythm follows the percussion of the city and Marc’s narration—where music and sport intertwine, the cut never outruns the emotion.

Coordination & safety. Urban aerials were planned with permits, staging, and clear sightlines; stadium‑adjacent sequences were coordinated with event stakeholders. (Miami’s World Cup venue is the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, designated to host multiple 2026 matches.)

Result: a visual manifesto for a host city

More than promotion, the film plays as a statement of identity: Miami isn’t just ready to host—it’s alive with the reason to host. Marc’s voiceover ties the city’s Latino heritage, global population, and love of the game into a single heartbeat: sport as music; music as sport. The piece invites viewers to feel the pulse, sense the welcome, and glimpse the global stage Miami is preparing to share. (
