The objective: honor the five-year Lions × BetMGM partnership while giving viewers a connected ride through the city and into the stadium. Scope included low-altitude urban passes framing Detroit’s skyline and streets, fan-forward moments grounding the story in community, and an FPV stadium segment at Ford Field.
The route and pacing were designed to feel continuous, so the audience experiences Detroit pride, sports culture, and a seamless handoff from city to field.
The route was designed to unify city and team identity – starting in downtown Detroit and moving toward Ford Field. Street-level sweeps transition to higher reveals, then compress again as the route approaches concourses and field-adjacent spaces. Piloting emphasized smooth acceleration and readable horizon lines: in the city the drone tracked architectural lines and traffic rhythm; inside Ford Field it moved through stadium geometry with measured speed.
Linking downtown Detroit to Ford Field without disorientation required careful route stacking – landmarks and street lines that naturally guide toward the stadium, then a transition into the venue with a stable horizon and measured speed. Stadium FPV cinematography demands tight planning, timing, and route clarity to keep visuals readable at high impact.
Our pilots hold FAA Part 107 certification and follow written checklists and site-specific risk reviews. Urban and stadium FPV work requires confirmed airspace, coordination with venue and city authorities, and visual observers on every flight – all balanced with the fast, close camera language that defines the FPV approach.
Editorial choices preserve the sensation of a single, fluid journey. Cuts are minimized or hidden to maintain direction from city to stadium. Music and pacing support forward motion; timing emphasizes beats tied to fan energy and the partnership theme. The result is a one-take feel that connects Detroit pride, sports culture, and the five-year Lions × BetMGM partnership in one cinematic arc.
