At Sky Candy, we pride ourselves on pushing boundaries and capturing the essence of adventure. We teamed up with Can-Am, a leading manufacturer of innovative off-road vehicles, to create an action-packed FPV drone video that showcased their impressive lineup of UTVs.
Set against the rugged and breathtaking backdrop of Moab, Utah, we documented adrenaline-pumping off-roading experiences while also capturing the awe-inspiring landscape and the outdoor enthusiasts who call it their playground.

Our drone followed the Can-Am UTVs as they tackled Moab’s challenging terrain with ease and agility – conquering steep inclines and navigating through narrow canyons. The dynamic footage highlighted the power and performance of Can-Am’s machines, showcasing their ability to effortlessly traverse the unforgiving landscape.
As we explored the stunning Moab scenery, the drone also captured hikers and rock climbers equally captivated by the beauty and thrill of the area.
FPV flight was built for chase work in extreme terrain. The drone tracked Can-Am UTVs through canyon lanes, up steep inclines, and across open red rock – close enough to read the action, fast enough to keep pace with the machines. Camera language balanced ground-skimming chase shots with elevated reveals that set the scale of Moab as a stage.
Filming across Moab required scouting safe routes for both the vehicles and the FPV operation – coordinating with Can-Am’s drivers, mapping flight paths through canyons and over slickrock, and timing shoots around light and terrain. The route was sequenced to capture authentic off-road performance without compromising safety in genuinely remote terrain.
Our pilots hold FAA Part 107 certification and follow written checklists, site-specific risk reviews, and visual-observer protocols on every flight. Off-road FPV chase work requires confirmed airspace, coordination with vehicle teams, and visual observers staged across remote terrain – all balanced with the fast, athletic camera language that defines this kind of brand film.
Sky Candy’s Can-Am Moab film is an action-packed celebration of off-road adventure – showcasing the machines, the people, and the unforgettable landscape that brings them all together. Built for brand campaigns, social, and trade-show display, the FPV approach puts viewers in the driver’s seat of one of the most thrilling Can-Am experiences.
