PROJECT OVERVIEW

JON RAHM || CALLAWAY FPV FACTORY TOUR

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

At Sky Candy, we were excited to collaborate with Callaway, one of the world’s leading golf equipment manufacturers, to create an exhilarating FPV factory tour film. The shoot took us through Callaway’s state-of-the-art golf ball production facility, giving viewers a rare look at the precision behind each ball.

We also filmed pro golfer Jon Rahm showcasing his skills on the course, pairing factory craft with pro-level play in one cinematic piece.

Our drone zipped through the Callaway production facility, capturing the mesmerizing dance of machines and skilled workers as they meticulously crafted each golf ball – a behind-the-scenes look at the dedication and precision behind a high-performance product.

As we transitioned from the factory to the greens, our FPV drone offered a never-before-seen perspective of Jon Rahm as he effortlessly navigated the course. Each powerful swing and graceful putt was captured in motion, pairing factory craft with pro-level play in one cinematic piece.

We combined FPV drones with steady ground shots to show speed, scale, and detail. We planned flight paths through tight aisles and open work areas, then cut them with macro and process shots so viewers understand how each step works. On the course, we used FPV for energy and longer lens work for clean hero moments.

Factory shoots need careful planning. We mapped safe paths, confirmed lighting, and set a clear plan for crew movement. We timed certain runs around shift changes and machine cycles so we could capture clean action without slowing the floor. On the course, we coordinated with the team so flying never interfered with play.

Our pilots hold FAA Part 107 certification and follow written checklists and site-specific risk reviews. We use visual observers, confirm airspace, and document every flight. Setups included FPV for dynamic movement, sub-250 or heavier platforms as needed, and gimbals for stable ground coverage.

The final cut gives viewers a rare inside look at how premium golf balls are made and pairs it with pro-level play. The piece is built for social, web, and events, with short teasers that drive viewers to the full edit.
